Roshin met Sean Price in a Toronto Hotel Lobby in 2010, walking over to introduce himself as Sean mitated playing a horn from an episode of Sesame Street. Everyone around the desk was laughing. That would be the theme of the weekend. Up to this point Roshin had only spoken to Sean over e-mail, sending a verse and a beat for a song he hoped to have him jump on.  That song, "Same Damn 'Lo Sweater" was recorded that same weekend, following a show they played together with Sean booked as the headliner. 

Roshin (then wholeheartedly focused on his group Notes to Self) had never released any solo material at that point, and the song was supposed to be the lead single for his debut album, one that never ended up dropping.

Fast forward to this year, Roshin reached out to Sean's wife: the incomparable Bernadette Price for her green light,  and with her blessing, "Same Damn 'Lo Sweater" is finally seeing the light of day.

All proceeds are directed to the Price family, whether the song is streamed or purchased. Cover illustration by Elicser.  In 2010 or 2021, remember "Sean Carter is nice, but Sean Price is the best."
